Day trading refers to the technique of buying and selling stocks (and currencies) throughout the trading day. When doing day trading you usually do not keep the stock for very long, but instead you buy and sell the stock throughout the day whenever development in stock prices gives you a profit. Needles to say, trading often takes place in a rapid pace and timing in day trading is everything.
